This architectural panel system, a project I call “Carved Woodscape,” was born from my desire to integrate the organic warmth and textures of natural wood with modern architectural forms. My ambition was to design a facade that transcends its function as a mere barrier, becoming a dynamic, sculptural element.
Each panel is meticulously crafted from rich timber, featuring a deeply carved, concave organic pattern. When these modules are assembled, they form a continuous, undulating landscape of wood. This design intentionally invites the interplay of natural light, which becomes an active partner: evolving shadows and highlights dance across the surface, emphasizing the wood’s beautiful grain and the three-dimensional depth of the carvings throughout the day.
