One Sky, Many Wings

Tovan Elio

Hundreds of birds in shifting shades of blue gather along a circular field. From a distance they form a single celestial body; at close range, every bird retains its own scale, posture, and direction. The restricted palette allows density and movement to become the primary visual language.

The central void is not an absence, but a shared sky held open by the flock. Using migration as a metaphor for community, the work shows how individuals can remain distinct while forming a stable order around a common direction—an image in which freedom and belonging coexist.
